Dr. Qing Liu was born and raised in China. She completed her medical studies at Capitol Medical University in China in 2000. In 2001 she moved to the United States and in 2006 she completed a PhD in Biomedical Science from The University of Texas A&M. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine in New York in 2013.
Dr. Liu moved to Houston in 2017 and has practiced here since then. Dr. Liu is very passionate about women’s health and does provide well women exams and wellness advice. She never rushes her patients and is well liked by them as well. Dr. Liu is also registered with the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas to be able to prescribe medical marijuana for specific conditions identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Dr. Liu is recognized by her colleagues as being a very patient and kind individual. She was nominated by one of her colleagues for the Physician of the Year award during her time at Memorial Hermann Northeast hospital. In her free time Dr. Liu enjoys jogging, movies and music.
